Freezer Jam

BERNARDIN® Freezer Jam Pectin lets you to make luscious homemade jam full of berries and fresh fruit flavour. All you have to do is crush, stir and freezeā€¦ or serve it right away!

Ingredients:





  • 4 cups crushed berries




  •  1 pkg Freezer Jam Pectin




  •  1 1/2 cups sugar





Directions:

Yield 5  - 250ml Jars


  1. Measure 1 ½ cups (375ml) sugar into bowl: Stir in content of pouch, until well mixed

  2. Crush fruit, Add 4 cups (1000ml) to dry mixture. [Peaches, apricots reduce to 3 ¼ cup (875ml)] Stir 3 minutes.

  3. Ladle into clean jars leaving ½ inch (1 cm) headspace; apply lids. Let stand until thickened (about 30 minutes).

  4. Serve right away; Refrigerate up to 3 weeks; or, freeze for longer storage.
